DJ, Oboy! I didn't mean to start this kind of war again. I left this kind of discussion behind years ago. DJ, our computer systems are mission critical in every respect. In every conceivable way, I have to have productive software and a rock-solid support system in terms of the integrity of the market for the hardware itself. As with every piece of equipment in my shop, I must be able to get help in case of equipment problems or other technical issues. The Amiga environment failed me in all those respects several years ago. With the latest developments, it is insanity to speak of the Amiga as a viable platform in any sense in a business environment. Sorry, Amiga will remain a curiosity, a blip (although a brilliant blip) in the history of computer development. Yes, Amiga will retain a core of die-hard supporters, and I include myself in that group with some caveats. But it is time to recognize that now we must add to Amiga's legacy, an inept and corrupt manufacturer (corrupt in the intellectual sense) and now a technology that is as lacking with respect to other technologies, as was manufacturer support with respect to the support that Apple and the MSDOS world gave to their products. I exist in a business environment where corporations are purging Macs from the desks of graphic design professionals and are replacing those magnificent machines with Pentium machines! In such a world do you really think you can seriously continue to laud Amiga, a machine for which you can't be sure you can buy an Ethernet board tomorrow, as a serious machine? Boy am I gonna get dumped on for this message! Oh, well. 8) Rich
