Hello, I remember hearing that you had a Sanyo GVR-S950, and that you received a replacement unit because of problems. Is it still working out? I sent mine away for 8 weeks to Sanyo in Chicago, and they were "unable to reproduce the problem." Well, after ten minutes it was obvious to me that I was still getting tape wear, dropout, whatever. Three months to get the stinking thing, then two months waiting for nothing, I'm really pissed off. I am looking at a pretty intense project coming up, and I need some decent equipment. FWIW, I'm currently having problems with the SCSI interface for my optical drive, my new video monitor is screwed, my video camera is ready to die, my 3/4" deck won't eject tapes, and I've got a mystery conflict between devices wreaking havoc with my apps. The only thing that seems to work right is 3DS! Anyone have anything good to report on the Sanyo? Paul D. Sanford [LEVEL 5]
