I obviously need some practive here…. By "follow object" I assume you mean the bottom leaf of the IK heirarchy (that which is following the follow object) correct? IK is solving for rotations all along your strip (I also assume there are no sliding joints) in regard to rotation. IN order to bend and/or twist the pieces must rotate. Jonas' diving board is a good example – it bent over, just by rotation of the slices. – Phil p.s. Upload it if you aer still having problems OR if you succeed and are proud of it!
