#BONE HEAD ALERT!!!!!
EXCUSE ME. DID I SNEEZE AND MISS SOMETHING?
I'm jacked in and running around the cyberscape and
tripping down some back alley called S9/Index and Info
when I stumble across some grafitti
I've got to read real careful-like to learn that
> >> >>>>> there's a BONES IPAS sitting in the Library <<<< < < <<<<<<<<<<
waiting for people to download!
Did somebody have a press release party and forget to send out invites?
No Color Brochures. No Big Announcements.
What kind of BONE Head idea is this?
Attention all 3D STUDIO users. BONES IPAS FOR DOWNLOAD IN LIBRARY #3
I mean, it seems like there's been a lot of salivating going on here.
In recent weeks I couldn't pass through this neck of the woods without
feeling like I was walking thru a graveyard on Halloween
with all of the banter 'bout BONES.
Does this guy Joseph Munkeby know what he's doing?
Does he have a clue about how to get the word out about his stuff?
I punch into the library. AND
Holy Cow!!! He snuck it up there only a couple of hours ago and
already its on its way to becoming the most downloaded file in the library.
The file is charting with a bullet boys and girls. He's got a hit.
More than 125 downloads.
And its already receiving reviews!
Glen Melenhorst from Down Under in Aussie Land is first to clock in
01:44:43 25-Oct-94
No wonder he's known as the Zephyr -= No moss growing on this guy =-
He's already downloaded and checked it out and he's back looking for info.
GM > Hi all, Has anyone got Joseph Munkeby's ID?
GM > I'd like to both congratulate and grill
GM > him about his BONES ipas demo. It seems pretty cool.
GM > Glenn Zephyr
Clue Glenn: It's tops the file description:
[75107,2653] <———————————–
BONES.ZIP/Bin Bytes: 103268, Count: 118, 24-Oct-94
Title : SHAREWARE Bones IPAS: Cheap Skeletal Morphing
Munkeby himself responds to the call only minutes later 02:46:06 25-Oct-94
JM > …Hi, Glad you liked it. It's actually a fully capable BONES.
JM > Not just a demo. …Send on the questions.
JM > Joe
Later in the day Melenhorst is back 17:42:07 25-Oct-94
extending his gratitude, firing away with the questions and sneaking
in some double entendre.
GM > Hi Joseph. Thanks for your work on bones!
GM > It's just what I've always wanted (and it 'aint even Dec25th).
GM > I have boned a number of things ….
( ROBERT RITGER snickers from the hallway )
( DAMN, this Cyberspace Stuff is exciting! )
( For the rest of Melenhorst's inquisition see message # 131085 )
( in the S9/Index and Info sub )
The Zeph concludes:
GM > All in all I'm blown away by your work
GM > and I hope you get a lot of support for it.
GM > Thanks
GM > Glenn Melenhorst Zephyr.
Later the G – Man, no less, punches the clock:
> 25-Oct-94 10:29:14
> Sb: #131074-Bones
> Fm: Yost Group 76702,413
> To: Glenn J Melenhorst 100353,134 (X)
Yost > I'm glad you noticed it. I (likewise) am extremely impressed with it!
Yost > – G
Noticed it? You think they would have said sumptin in the IPAS sub.
Or the 3D Studio sub. What is this? Some form of sub-liminal?
No. We gotta go look in the Info / Index sub.
( All of these subs are making me hungry. )
Anyway, here's what you'll find in BONES.ZIP in the 3D Studio Library #
