Mike, you hit on EXACTLY what Steve's problem was. He had a small scene, but
it was offset about 700000 units from the origin in one axis and 300000 units
on another axis. That, plus the scale of the scene itself, caused enough
single-precision floating-point roundoff error to make the camera shake during
the animation.
The solution for Steve would be to just translate the models to the origin, and
then all would be fine.
