I cant say exactly because i was peripherally involved in the actual computer work but i do know that we had a lot of 'ratsnests' errors the first time we tried it. What wound up happening was that we had an artist take the Microstation model into Autocad and then resave it out as DXF after going through each layer. I am going to be working with a Microstation user directly soon and should be able to give better reports since i will be testing it carefully one step at a time. I am very interested in helping you with this so please stay in touch. I work for the electric utility in the Chicago area and we have a lot of engineers using Microstation with a need to make models move and put them onto videotape and that's where I (and 3DStudio) come in. thanks Terry Laplante
