I can't help you with number 2, but wrt number 1, you should be using
LHA138.RUN from the Archivers library of AmigaUser. It's a self-extracting
archive. Just download it, put it where you want it, and type LHA138.RUN to
decompress it. (As if you didn't already know that ;-).
