Okay here's the deal: anyone who finds how to help me will receive a free copy of my future game (keep waitin'!). Seriously, I've got problems with DICE. I just bought the GameSmith Developement System and I'm trying to use the library. The fact is that DICE doesn't seem to recognize it! I have an A1200 with accelerator 28Hrz and 4Mb FastRam. I'm trying to compile the GameSmith examples through VMake with these settings: 3.0 OS and the GameSmith library in the additionnal librairies (Linker Options). Here are the results: compiler finds errors in a GameSmith specific structure (and of course there aren't,I'm sure). Sometimes the linker sends me "error parsing object module GameSmith.lib offset 0". Sometimes the example code compiles, but when I run it, it crashes. I know I'm only a beginner, but I suspect that the GameSmith library is not correctly "inserted" in the programs. Why? What is wrong? How am I supposed to append that library in the source code? If someone could help me and tell me how am I supposed to include the library in the source code I would be very grateful. Remember, it can't be the source code itself for the codes are already-typed examples from GameSmith. So it's not the code, but the way it is compiled. Please, hear my screams: HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP!
