Dear Steve, yes I checked-on the autoanswer box. I can receive manually just fine but not in autoanswer mode, which makes it a bit difficult. I also wonder how one is supposed to specify the number of rings before the machine picks up. I have queried Supra about this but aside from telling me to click the autoanswer box on and everything would be cool and fruity they haven't responded. Which pisses me off as I paid enough for this damn modem. Is this likely to be a software problem or a hardware problem? I know there are supposed to be some adjustments to make in the modem but I dare not try without understanding what I'm getting into. Any suggestions you can give would be helpful. Thanks, Malcolm
