#External Floppy Hookup?

Rob, I'm assuming the 'external floppy frame' is essentially the guts from an external Amiga floppy drive. You can't just connect a bare drive to the external drive port without a couple chip's worth of glue logic. If you are in fact using an old Amiga external drive, the other thing to check is the drive address jumpers. When a drive is internal, the drive's address is set to either 0 or 1… external drives are all set to 0. The cable is wired to daisy chain the addresses. -Jim MOS via Autopilot & Amiga
