When you say "Chains" I am assuming you mean a 2D/3D Skeleton. If you are looking to animate a skeleton, one way (the easiest way) is to grab an "effector" and pull the chain – that is not to say that it is the only way – in fact, you may need to use a combination of constraints, expressions, and nulls to get the desired effect. (some facial animators have as many as 40 different controls – just for the face). I have seen SCENES set up in SI which are actually realtime animations (you can fly through them look left/right/up/down etc. in the Creative Environment)- created by using a series of constraints, expressions and Suprakeys. I know that this is a brief explanation, but this is actually a broad topic. Regards, Ian J.
