Peter, Forgive me, but I don't quite understand the reason for this research you are doing, and I don't know of anything that could be missing. I can tell you now, though, that for CompuServe, the best protocol to use it BPlus. It is fast, accurate, and allows for re-starting of interrupted downloads (as ZModem does on other systems.) You are wise to do this in Practice forum, though. —Betty
