I think I know why. I read in the latest Video Toaster mag that the only
"authorized" release of 3.1 was for the 4000. All of the other 3.1 chips are
"unauthorized" releases, so maybe this is why EA did nothing to support 3.1.
NewTek also say the same thing regarding the Toaster; they won't guarantee
compatability and won't support 3.1 UNTIL it's official released. (Just for
note: I've had no problems with 3.1 and the Toaster on my A2000.)
