Ena, Ok, guess I misunderstood. I thought Ron was referring to the "A1000 +$1000=B2000" deal, not the C64/128 user group thing. I also realize that my computer dealer is quite a few cuts above the norm. I really can't blame those dealers too much who're unhappy about the A and B software packages. It's a great deal for us users, but it probably hurts some dealers' software sales (at least in the short-run). On the other hand, the deal attracts people into the stores and gives knowledgable, friendly dealers the opportunity to gain new customers who'll come back and buy more later. My dealer looks to the long-run, embraces the deal and plugs it enthusiastically, and–voila!–sells tons of Amiga 500s…and lots of software to boot. It's amazing how a good attitude can improve sales.
