To the best of my knowledge, DrawOver will not work with a PICT scan
file…all you'd get is a big rectangle (although I doubt that it is
supposed to buzz and crash as you say). DrawOver is designed for PICT
object files., like those created by MacDraw 1.9…in this case it simply
"draws" a PostScript shape for every corresponding object in the file.
Works great with some old MacDraw Clip art I had laying around. I don't
believe DrawOver is compatible with MacDraw II, however. -Scott Leyes
