#WB2.0
Ben,
I wonder.. would you appreciate the harrasment if say your work was the
target of criticism like your own? Perhaps if users were to rake you over
the coals for bugs in the paint system for HAM-E, and perhaps the AVT
software? Have you risen so high that you write bugfree code?
The way your message reads, though you may not intend it, is that Commodore
is not only not doing anything about these problems, but further doesn't
care. I dare say I doubt that either is the case. Are these bugs alive
and well in AmigaDOS 2.0? If so, have you submitted a bug report
describing these conditions?
There is no such thing as a bug free program, or for that matter a bug free
operating system. Yes, the Amiga does crash but so does every computer
that I have ever seen. Care to mention one that doesn't? Perhaps I need
to invite you out for a VAX crash.. they can be rather impressive, and
caused by the simpliest of things, like running out of headers on a hard
disk will generate a file system bugcheck in VMS 5.2.
My point, never throw stones in a glass house.
