Ben, I wonder.. would you appreciate the harrasment if say your work was the target of criticism like your own? Perhaps if users were to rake you over the coals for bugs in the paint system for HAM-E, and perhaps the AVT software? Have you risen so high that you write bugfree code? The way your message reads, though you may not intend it, is that Commodore is not only not doing anything about these problems, but further doesn't care. I dare say I doubt that either is the case. Are these bugs alive and well in AmigaDOS 2.0? If so, have you submitted a bug report describing these conditions? There is no such thing as a bug free program, or for that matter a bug free operating system. Yes, the Amiga does crash but so does every computer that I have ever seen. Care to mention one that doesn't? Perhaps I need to invite you out for a VAX crash.. they can be rather impressive, and caused by the simpliest of things, like running out of headers on a hard disk will generate a file system bugcheck in VMS 5.2.
