Good morning, Jaacquie. Glad your storm is over. Now all you have to do is shovel the mess! (One of the reasons I moved to FL was to avoid shovelling. <grin>) Well, the script worked. For some reason, it deletes the shell. You can do the same thing with the CLI, in the System drawer of your JRCOMM diskette, though, so all is not lost. It works almost the same as the Shell. Try doing a directory (DIR DF0:) using the CLI. The JR-Comm and JR-Edit icons should be at the bottom of the workbench window. You will probably have to resize the window (larger) to see them. Since the script did all that, it should have done the rest of the job as well. If you can't find those icons, go into the CLI and type the following line: DIR >DF1:NewJR DF0: Opt A This will create a text file on DF1: called NewJR, which contains the complete directory of DF0:. E-Mail that file to me, and I'll try to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. Bill, K3OZM
