Chris, The original complaint was that the system was unstable and would guru randomly. I merely responded that I had experienced similar failures with a non-Supra autoboot HD when I would boot the machine with a non-bootable floppy in df0:, so I doubted that the problem was with the Supra system. As far as whether it SHOULD work, we're in agreement. Often, though, there is some distance between what "should be" and what "IS". 8) David
