This is my problem. I am working with some BIG anim files. By BIG, I mean about 4 or more megs in size. The problem is that I would like to store them someplace other than on my hard-drive. I'm not exactly made of money, so buying another hard-drive or tape backup is not exactly what I want. Is there a program that will let me break up this file into smaller files that can then be transferred to floppies and then, when it comes time to display the animation again, rejoin the files onto my hard-drive. I've tried breaking up the animation into something like 5 smaller files and then stringing them together with THE DIRECTOR VER. 2, but there are obvious, though brief, pauses between each of the five smaller anim file. Is there a program that will easily (I'm no Amiga super-programmer) break up a large anim file and then let you rejoin it again. I even tried using the AmigaDOS "join" command, but it doesn't work.
