For my money, I would expect to get regular updates. The cost of WP 4.1.12 was high enough to warrant it. WP Corp has supported the IBM market very well, while leaving the Amiga Market with only two versions (4.1 & 4.1.12). The later of the two was a step in the right direction and is the reason I bought it. I had seen 4.1 on friends machines and thought it sub-standard to even the old MSDOS 4.2 version. (I've used MSDOS 4.2 and 5.0 at work {U.S. Army}). Please reconsider your reported decision. We need a good all around Word Processor for the Amiga. Excellence! had the right idea, MSS just fell short of execution and customer Support. I bought Version 1.0 from them, I've owned their Analyze!, Organize! and Online! for most of my Amiga time. I've never gotten upgrade notifications from them once. Their customer support sucks. I swore that if MSS didn't provide support for me with Excellence! I would never buy another of their products. When I finally found out about Version 2.0 I called it quits. I bought Prowrite 3.1. I like the way Prowrite handles everything except printing. I suspect that the problem is more with my Tandy DMP-133 then Prowrite though. (Did I mention that WP's printer support is excellent!) If WP folds, I'll use it until it drops and then go to PPage 2.1 for my printing needs. nough said! – via Whap!
