Ben, I don't think that anyone is belaboring your point that TeX is
powerful, and that you can use it very well. No one's said that WP is the
ideal tool for all writing/publishing jobs, is TeX?
You've made a real good case for the flexibility of TeX… as a matter of
fact I am considering it for a newsletter I'm about to start, because it
sounds like it might be the best tool. (is there any functioning demo of
it avail?)
Out of curiosity, what would YOU have the *average* Amiga user USE as a
word processor? The average joe/jane that wants to: 1) write letters, 2)
memos, 3) short school reports, 4) term papers (footnotes, etc), 5) longer
papers (ie. 50+ pages), 6) fiction, etc…..
TeX? Excellence? PenPal? CEDPro? TTX? WordPerfect? I'm curious…
