Thanks for the reply; I guess that I was looking at the problem a bit
differently. If you have the Dbl precision FP database in systems memory,
say with 32 Mbyte of systems RAM, and you can transform each entity (on the
FP coprocessor) in less time than it takes to draw, isn't that equivalent
to DL redraw? Come to think of it, why don't you improve ACAD by using the
ADS language to fetch the entities directly, thereby eliminating the
intermediate step of converting them to integer representations. Then you
could do zooms and pans without 16 bit restrictions?
