As for someone putting it on their lap on a crowded flight… well, I suppose it would be cumbersome in that respect, but then we are talking 'portable' as opposed to 'laptop'. Generally, I've always considered portables to be slightly bigger brothers to laptops, and I have yet to see any portable that is comfortable to use on an airline flight. As for an Amiga _laptop_, I have to agree with Denny. I just don't see it being practical until a CMOS chipset is available. Especially if such a laptop is going to use a 32 bit processor with a memory system that it can use. Battery technology just isn't there yet.
