Andy, Thanx for the prompt reply, but boy am I more confused now than before! Format Ram?! I was not aware that ram needed to be formated, is that the same manner of formating as in disk drives? Would this have to be done each time the machine is powered up or just an initialzation on the 1st use? Or would you need some type of driver? Hmmm this is good news that the PCMCIA does work across platforms, it might make some of the peripherals more accesable and cheaper to boot! If you could eleborate some more (for us laymen) I sure would appreciate it! …Steve On AutoPilot! (at last)
