David: Question 1: You must set the display to NULL device if you want to render out to a higher resolution than your screen can deliver. And yes, as you noticed, if you tell it a lower resolution than the screen, you will get some blank areas around your image. Question 2: There are many different memory management methods that will work with 3D Studio. We are extremely happy with QEMM, and I recall seeing a benchmark here that showed it was faster than HIMEM. Question 3: the easiest way to delete parts of objects you don't want is to select faces with a window and delete them. Greg Pyros
