Gracia,
It sounds like its time to concentrate on getting one of the new devices
working at a time. Then we can move to step two, getting both on the bus
together. Let's work on the tape drive, first. Disconnect the connector
from the CDROM and be sure that the tape is terminated. I wish I had
another external termination plug lying around, I'd send it down to you.
It makes it easy to add/remove termination during the experiment/magic
act/voodoo/seance.
