My experience too, is that the Amiga in general is much "snappier". I do
lots of work in Windows at 1024 x 768 x 256 on my 486-33. Video
performance is usually OK but I often find screen refreshes taking 2 or
more seconds. My A3000 and even my old A1000 seem generally much faster
than that. Sure, I could get a video accelerator card, (and probably
will), but the point is, that right out of the box, my Amiga provides a
very responsive interface that I can match on the Intel box only with some
extra $$ and aggravation.
