professional product that sports many of the features that Word Perfect
has. I know that in this last year the hottest selling productivty
package for the Amiga has been ProWrite. Perhaps if you had decided to
support the Amiga developer you might find yourself today with a Word
Processor far more powerful than WP 4.1 ever was.
Finally, the awards. Magazines often times do not indicate a real sense
of what is good vs. what is bad. I can think of several occasions when
products won awards that I just couldn't understand–until I saw how much
certain companies advertise in that magazine. I have to evaluate a given
product on its own merit and my experience. Word Perfect, though I used
it for years, was a big love hate relationship. It turned to complete
hate in disgust in later years.
