Lee, If you own a Commodore hard drive controller, there's nothing illegal about you getting a copy of HDToolBox from someone. I don't know why people are talking about dealers SELLING you the disk–they can rightfully make you a copy, as can any Amiga user. It's just not possible to transfer the file electronically over CIS, due to copyright restrictions. Anyway, one possible solution is to download Microbotics RDPrep, if they've finished the freely-distributable version. (I know Redmond said they'd be releasing it, but I didn't notice if they did or not.) RDPrep works fine on the Commodore HD controller. Check the Microbotics conference over in AmigaVendor and see if it's available for download there.
