Jonas, I wonder if you could help me out. I teach 3D studio at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and we're thinking about creating a rendering farm. My plan is to put six Pentium motherboards in a cabinet networked together and have a Par board hooked up for output. My question is what brand of network hardware works well for 3d Studio's high level of traffic. After reading some threads on a major problem with Lantastic, I'm a little terrified of bringing this plan to the school administration and it not working as planned. Any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated. thanx in advance, Jeff
