The CDK is supported with VC++2.0 only. If you want to build applications with
the CDK R2 (my assumption), then it has to be VC++2.0.
And….if you want to use VC++2.0, then it has to be NT. (I'm pretty sure
there's no way VC++2.0 will work with Win 3.1- but, feel free to ask MS the
same question.)

Only Version 2.0 is supported with CDK.
