I have a new HP DeskJet500C, and am using ProWrite (3.2) for basic word processing tasks. My problem is with the HP's internal fonts: I can't seem to access them. My printer driver is the HP_DeskJet500 driver by Lance Kibblewhite, DL'd from CIS. Using ProWrite's print menu, I can use either the bitmap (or CG outline) fonts, or dump my text directly to the HP, using the panel font (which I believe is Courier 12). I'd like to access the other built-ins, like CGTimes (which looks really nice). Using the Amiga's "Times" font, even CGTimes, the output is nowhere near as good. In addition, I can't seem to find a font which is the same size as the HP's Courier12 panel font. I've tried Pica and Elite (WB standard fonts), but they don't match; therefore I can't even get true 'WYSIWYG' To fix the latter problem would be a start…at least I would know what my printouts are going to look like! ProWrite's "Internal Font Number" selector has no effect on output, it just uses the same font every time.
