Darrell, Just to recap a few things. If you are using system 7.0 or higher, you must be using CorelDRIVER for MAC version 4.0.3 or CorelSCSI for MAC. The medium error is indicating that the drive is having problems reading the cartridge. Ensure that the drive and the cartrdige are well cleaned. Use only manufacturer prescribed cleaning kits. Ensure that both are cleaned. I have seen instances where if the lens was dusty a specific cartridge could not be formatted. If the cartridges are new you can pretty much eliminate tham as being dusty (although a quick slide of the media door will prove that). Try increasing the bad sector tolerance for the manual mount to 50. At each attempt, use the drive status option to record the error that the drive is returning to our drivers. I hope this helps.
