You might look at Montage, as well. I have their offline system and am
pleased with it. They have the same interface in a version that your friend
might consider online quality, using the Targa2000 card. They'll also be using
the PCI version of it when it is out, giving what is claimed to be D-1 quality,
though I haven't seen it. Some folks I've talked to who have seen an early
version of the card say that it is impressive. Me? I'm happy off-line. I
work in LA and have plenty of online houses to choose from.
