VERSION 2.0 SUPPORT

Decent? That's a fantastic price for a full copy of 3DS 2.0 or
2.01a! However, I couldn't be quite sure exactly what you meant – is
your friend upgrading to Release 3 and selling you his old Release 2
when he does? If so, all legalities aside, remember that you don't
get a new hardware lock with an upgrade! Only one of them will be
usable, so be careful what you are buying!
>> Will there still be support for earlier versions here?
Most questions from 3D Studio users are generic enough to apply to both
versions, although there will be specific features of 3 that have no comparison
in release 2.
>> (and this version needs all the support it can get!)
Again, I'm not sure what you meant by this, but having used it professionally
for 1-1/2 years, the only disadvantage of release 2 is that it isn't release 3!
The program is stable and feature-rich, there were portions that many users
didn't even get a chance to master before release 3 came out!
Release 2 will keep someone happy for a while, at least until they can spare
the $497 for the upgrade to release 3!
