Yes, I'm sure there are MANY companies with large, existing investments in
Alpha machines! 🙂
You really are listening to the NT-hype machine, aren't you? Of
course, you've been told to ignore the OS/2 hype. An SMP version is
in beta now (which runs 3DS – can any other SMP OS run 3DS?). The
"Workplace OS" system will run an OS/2 personality on the PowerPC, so
anyone who has an OS/2 program can jump on the PowerPC bandwagon when
machines start shipping.
Sorry, but I stopped buying into the Microsoft hype when they burned
their bridges on the road to OS/2. They were as hyped about OS/2
then as they are about "Windows everywhere" now. Where will we be
when the wind changes direction next time?
