Hi Kevin,
It's nice to see such interest.
I too traded in my paint brushes and canvases for the world of 3D.
Unlike you, I jumped straight into 3D.
You question: Am I "one of the lost 60's generation?"
No, I'm not old enough to say that.
I'm a product of 50's mentality parents and born in 67.
So I guess I'm part of that GENERATION-X.
You know, I have to say that you're the only person out there with such a
response. It seems to me a lot of the time in this asoft forum everybody
seems to pick you apart and not give enough good words.
Kinda of like a high school mentality.
You know… who has what and mine's bigger than yours.
Instead of having fun and learning from each other.
A little cut throat. A little too serious about this world of 3D.
It becomes too much of a chore, and it's no longer fun.
But enough on this subject.
I just will have to say thanks. I had not received such a response.
I didn't think anyone knew I was out here.
Schreiber's catalog features several images that I've created.
And though a lot of people have seen them,
they don't equate them with Mike White and SunDog.
About SDP… right now I'm a one person gig.
Located in Fountain Valley Calif.
Which is in Orange Co.
You're welcome to call me at (714)-839-2384 or fax at (714)-839-4625
Or at SIRIUS in Balboa, Calif.
Phone number is (714)-675-8049 just ask for Mike.
I have found a few new programmers, so expect new routines soon.
I've been working with other companies lately such as Cad Craft (on routines),
and SIRIUS (for 3D animation, video productions, programming, and print work.)
Cad Craft also has software out through Schreiber.
Luge, Python, MorphMate, Page Turn, Etc…
I will be putting materials for my routines on Cserve.
Any questions you have, please ask. I'll try to do my best to answer.
I really have an extensive knowledge on IPAS and software for 3D and video
output. I'm also an Authorized Autodesk MultiMedia VAR.
So feel free too ask.
Also as you can tell, I'm an IPAS PLUG-IN developer.
If your interested in some of my art work look for 72002,1010.
A lot of my stuff doesn't have my name on it.
For a while I was getting ragged for my spelling.
It's sad that people judge you this way especially when they don't know
the whole picture.
My spelling was messed up along with other motor movements from
a car accident I had 2 years ago. I had to have an operation last December.
A cervical C-section non-fusion. My disk was impeding into my spinal cord
about a 1/3 of an inch. This is screwed! These things happen.
Now it's getting better.
About the software done by SDP.
First there's Imagine Fader four IXP routines.
Second there's Imagine Photo-Realistic Textures four SXP routines.
Third Imagine Fractal Textures
and off hand I can't recall how many SXP routines.
Fourth set Imagine Fractal Bouquet
and as before I can't recall how many routines
but there is one AXP Dust.axp and the rest are SXP's.
A lot of images I uploaded on ASOFT were mainly created with SXP's from my
sets. And yes all the materials were created by me.
The ones you get with all four sets.
Well, it's great to hear the positive response and if you can upload some
images that you create with my routines I would like to see them.
I also would like you to call to set something up in the real near
future for BETA. It was real nice to hear from ya and please keep in touch.
