You are right in regards to my answer … use CompuServe Mail. Our staff
sees no reason to use up valuable forum message slots when a member can just as
easily send a message to mail. Remember, a private message is accessible only
to two people where as a regular forum message is available to thousands. Just
an effective use of good resources is the best reason to disable private
messages.
