#DigiMax
I was looking at the image of the DigiMax and had a couple of questions I'd
like to pop out in the open. It looks pretty cool, but I doubt if it's big
enough to put my car in to digitize <G> sooo…
1) What are the physical dimensions of the DigiMax? Size/Weight?
2) What size objects can the DigiMax work with? Is weight or construction of
object a consideration?
3) Is the digitizing process manual (turn the knobs?) or automatic? (like
click a button to digitize?)
4) What type of device is it? Serial? Parallel? SCSI? Will I need a special
card to use it?
5) What is the depth resolution of the Digimax? Forgive me for not knowing
how to phrase this properly, but I'm wondering how well it would scan an object
with many protrusions or indentations and how well it would handle this.
I'm curious about it's capabilities and limitations. Sorry for the dumb
questions, I'm really just getting started and may not have phrased my
questions well.
Thanks for any information!
