PMFJI – CEI was never supposed to market the Amiga – they are one of
several US distributors supplying Amigas to dealerships. In that case,
they provided dealers with more configuration choices than CBM did,
attempting to save the dealer swap out costs.
CEI has never been a retail market player. It would be like asking The Wiz
to create a product image for Sony or Panasonic. CEI's marketing plans are
laid out in the Oct'94 AC interview with Alex.
