OK, Rick, I have downloaded both the weather map AND the viewer program to my hard drive. I still get the same error message 121 "file is not an object module." How do I "integrate" the downloaded file and the viewer program? What I need are step-by-step "handholding" instructions. None of my manuals have a hint of how to do this. Does it make a difference what I name the downloaded file in the file requester? Does it have to have the format XXXXXX.YYY or something similar? I downloaded the ViewTek file, which is named VTEK21.LHA/bin. Is the "/bin" part of the file name, or is that merely additional info for people who know what they're doing, which I obviously don't? I have the A-Talk3 software. Does this already have GIF capabilities? The instructions for the weather maps said that if this is the case, to type DISPLAY (menu number) at the prompt. I tried this, and the machine "thought" for a few minutes, and then said "map not available, try later" or something to that effect. I'm not sure whether the map REALLY was not available, or whether it was just a glitch. I'm guessing the latter, but am not sure. Any more light you could shed on all this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Steve.
