I called the company that puts out Pub. Partner today and they said that they hope to start shipping next week. My guess is that means I will actually receive the program in late January, if nothing else goes wrong. I understand that this is a small company and they are delays but what really upsets me are the Amiga mags. like AmigaWorld that have allowed Publishing Partner's ad to run month after month, for at least a year, telling people that they need only send in their money and their PageSetter disk to receive the program. I believe that AmigaWorld knew months ago that the program was not shipping and would not ship for some time to come. They at least knew"!at it haven't shipped in the first six months, yet they still continued to run a full page ad that they knew ( or should have known) was offering a program that was no where near really to ship. Thats what bothers me the most. I feel that a computer mag. should make an effect to police their ads and protect the folks that read their mag. Of course, a full page, full color ad is hard to turn down. I believe that their are some Amiga mags. that would have turned it down or at least asked some pointed questions. Anyone agree?
