#WB2.0
Ron,
The other surprise I've heard CBM might have for us (those of us with
3000s, at least) is an upcoming 24-bit graphics card (designed by a company
called Lowell something, I think). I think that turbo XT card is part of
some "old" thinking at CBM that if they start making super IBM-compatible
386 cards with built-in VGA and such, that they'd be competing with their
own line of PC computers (which would probably be a good idea anyways, I
don't know how many people looking for a clone turn to the Commodore
version in the first place… can you see getting a Commodore 286 over,
say, a Dell?).
p.s. I only have an A500 so I guess I'm out of the running for 24-bit
graphics, eh? <g>
