Clifton, I'm not aware of a freely-distributable program that will do sideways printing. A long time ago MicroSystems Software had a commercial product (I think it was called OnSide, but I don't recall for sure) that would do what you are seeking. I don't know if it's still a current product or not. You may be able to find it among a dealer's old stock if you look hard enough. Other than that, the only other solution that I can think of would be a pretty expensive solution – I know that a program like PageStream does have the ability to import a text file, and can be set up to print in landscape mode to a dot-matrix printer. But if all you were looking for was a landscape-printing program, PageStream would put a sizable dent in your wallet for that function alone. (Of course, you'd be getting a lot more, but that's like buying a new car in order to get a hubcap <grin> ). Hope this helps… …BobR
