Tom,
Not true! The VO- series machines can CERTAINLY do time code! The older
machines (like the 5850) can put it on an audio channel; the newer machines
in the 9800 series (the 3/4-SP machines) can also put it on an address
track, I believe. Plus there's also VITC (vertical interval TC) which I
believe they can also use.
Mike's stuff can talk to all of them. Even the 5850.
