With the street cost of the HP DeskJet now at around $399, I don't know how
you could go wrong. It would be perfect for non-postscript DTP
applications. You would have to spend about $1,000 more to get a laser
with enough memory to do the same thing. For me, it was worth the money for
the laser… but for most casual users… well, that's enough money saved
to go out and buy a FireCracker24 board AND a HamE!
