Jeff, Let's say the did go the "clean room" route and clone the custom chips, they would also have to clone the OS ROM…and that, in and of itself, would be an even larger task. And on top of that, they'd have to clone the WB programs. That is a MAJOR project, requiring a major, up-front, investment. I seriously doubt anyone has done that yet. Thus, one would presume that they've used an Amiga WB and/or OS ROM (or KS disk) in their machine. If so…then they are in violation of Commodore's copyrights right off the bat…and Commodore could easily object, and win…to their being at WOC or any other show. Remember…the last license I saw from Commodore licensed the product (OS) for use on an Amiga computer…not just on "a computer". Don
