That's right. Classic case of preaching to the converted. You – or I – don't need convincing because we're well aware of what the machine offers. UNless others are made aware of those things, they can't sell it at any price. That's why I didn't say anything about the price stuff that Wayne and Ben have mentioned – I don't think it's all that significant. Your average game weenie is after a 500, and they're still priced very affordably. The 3000 class machine, 030 or 040, is more than competitive performance wise with anything in the clone world; we're only missing DSP hardware, and a few classes of software (not products, entire classes of products) to be a complete machine. Otherwise, it's a killer, and the price isn't out of line, though less expensive during a recession such as the current one will help, something in the over 1000$ range isn't exactly an impulse buy. No question that a 486/33 isn't a slouch. The operating system is, though – windows is a dog. OS/2 is better, but has it's own problems. Barry Chalmers, a programmer who works here has about 18k$ of OS/2 PS/2 stuff. Know what we gave him for XMAS? An Amiga… he wanted one so bad it was funny. Guess what has a dust cover on it now? <grin> Anyway… CBM will kill the Amiga yet. You just watch. Ben
