After suffering through two editions of "Tax Break" that were supposed to be vast improvements over previous editions, I'm going to just write a spreadsheet to do the grinding. I used Tax Break for doing the math on returns I prepare, and I found many quirks. They had the incorrect minimum age for claiming a dependent, it automatically did things it shouldn't, and it totally bombed on the new two-tiered social security structuring. DataTax should be written off as a loss.
