We have version 2.23 I think is what it displayed and we did use the /S
parameter but it appears that the version of DOS must be greater then version
3.30. After changing it to DOS 5.0 it worked like a charm. Thanks for your
assistance. After reading your message, I wanted to know what the /S was for
so I downloaded the MSCDEX file from the MSDR forum. This file explains all
the command line parameters. In it was a blurb mentioning the the /S alters
the operating system to all the CD ROM to be shared on a network. That's what
made me decide to try upgrading the systems DOS and ultimately got the CD ROM
on-line. Thanks once again.
